Hope Is Here

Hope is Here

No matter where you are today, hope is a gift you can enjoy right now.

It’s not an empty hope. It’s not a wish. It’s not a dream.

The great thing about the hope you can receive through a relationship with Jesus Christ is that hope exists on multiple planes.

Hope For the Past

Whatever sins you have committed in the past, you can rest assured knowing that the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ paid for them all. There is not one stain in your past that Jesus did not blot out. You may experience some residual consequences from sin, but you are no longer condemned because of them.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” – Romans 8:1

“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” – Isaiah 43:25

Hope For Today

You are not alone and without help today. Hope is found through the work of the Holy Spirit in and through you. You have a helper ready to walk alongside you and even clear the path for the purposes God has for you. There is nothing today that can separate you from God’s present love.

“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:39

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” – 1 Peter 1:3

Hope For Tomorrow

You have an eternal future with the God of the Universe that is beyond description.

Until then, your future is an opportune place to do God’s will and experience hope in the plans He has designed for you alone. He will equip you with whatever you need.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:25-34

Dear Reader, I hope you are encouraged by these verses today. They have been prayed for you.

Whether your past, present or future is a source of trouble for you, remember the hope you have across all three.

Take the time to come before the cross and thank God for this hope He has blessed you with.
