“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”

– Psalm 18:1-3

In a world of uncertainty, brokenness and trials, it is good to be reminded that our Lord is a rock. He does not change. He does not move. He is not discouraged. Nothing about our lives – past, present, future – comes as a surprise to Him. Today, be reminded of His faithfulness to His people. Be encouraged that in Him we can take refuge, comfort and peace. Whatever circumstance we find ourselves in today, the Lord is faithful! Therefore…

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

My prayer for us this week: That we would be made aware of and fully trust who God is and where He is – our rock, refuge, shield and He is with us wherever we go.

I love you guys. Press on!

I have been rescued by the love of God through Christ. It is the love of Christ that compels me to pursue a life that says, "He must increase, but I must decrease." I am married to Stefani, the love of my life, and we have 4 children including three amazingly beautiful daughters, Makayla, Molly & Maycee and one wonderful son, Myles.
