Scripture on Jesus’ Return

Scripture on Jesus' Return

No matter what you are facing today, one thing is for sure…Jesus is coming again. He’s not coming like He did before as a baby, but as King. Jesus will wipe away every tear, there will be no mourning, no crying, no pain, all former things will pass away and death will be no more.

Can you imagine this? Do you believe this to be true? Jesus is returning.

In that split second, everyone will know the truth. When Jesus comes back, decision making is over.

Everyone, all around the world, believer and non believer will bow down and recognize Jesus as King. The believer will be saved into heaven for all eternity and the non believer will go to hell for all eternity. I don’t write that lightly and don’t mean for it to come across as being “mean,” but the Bible says that is truth and the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ.

  • No more pain
  • No more sickness
  • No more poverty
  • No more starvation
  • No more persecution
  • No more sin

In the meantime, follow Jesus, rely on the Holy Spirit to lead you, make disciples who make disciples, teach them to observe all that He has commanded us, baptize them, love and serve others, continue to share the Gospel, and look forward as the day is drawing near that our Savior will return.

Here is what the Bible has to say with scripture on Jesus’ return:

Hebrews 9:28 – So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

John 14:2-3 – In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

Acts 1:10-11 – And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Revelation 1:7 – Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 – For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Matthew 24:27 – For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Revelation 22:12-13 – “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

2 Peter 3:10 – But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

Luke 12:40 – You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Revelation 1:8 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Matthew 24:14 – And this Gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Revelation 21:4 – He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
